 How to get to Barcelona?

Introduction Going out

By plane

Prat-Barcelona Airport:

If you are arriving at Prat Barcelona Airport, you are not far from the city centre. If you want to take a taxi, it will cost you between 20 to 25€ to get to Plaça Catalunya, the very centre of Barcelona where you will find your Apartments Barcelona. However, blue buses with "aeroport" written on each side will take you the Plaça Catalunya for 3.75€. You will arrive faster to you Apartment Barcelona, Hostel Barcelona or Accommodation Barcelona.

Girona Airport:

Girona airport is about 100 km from Barcelona and there are different ways to come from the airport to your Apartment Barcelona.

- By bus: The bus is the most convenient way to go to Barcelona Apartment or to get back to Girona airport. It will take you little more than an hour but it's the cheapest way. In fact, the one way ticket will cost you 11€ and the return 19€. The bus will take you to Barcelona Nord, the terminal in Barcelona centre. Right next to the terminal, is the Arc de Triomf (L1) metro station - For more information, have a look at the metro map. The hours of buses are arranged with the Ryanair flights so you won't have to wait too long between the bus and the plane and you won't miss it either. Your Hostel Barcelona or accomodation Barcelona will be waiting for you.

- By train: The train is another option however not the best. To check the time table, visit the Renfe website.

- By taxi: A little faster than the bus but much more expensive. It will cost you about 120€ for a one way trip.

- Hire a car: If you have time and you want to drive along the beach, you can hire a car. Check the different companies because you will be surprised by the differences in price. If you only want a one way trip, check the companies where you can take a car from an airport and leave it at the other. After hiring your car, don't forget to rent an apartment Barcelona, we give you all the directions to go there ! This also works for your accomodation Barcelona or you apartment Barcelona!

By train

If you are coming by train, you will arrive at Barcelona Sants, which is the main train station in Barcelona, or at Estació de França.
-If you arrive at Sants, you can take a taxi, a bus or a metro L3 and L5 Sants Estació
-If you arrive at Estació de França, you can take a taxi, a bus or a metro L4 Barceloneta. You will always have a hotel barcelona near!

By bus

You can also come by bus, it's not very comfortable but is much cheaper than the other options. You will arrive at Barcelona Nord, 2 metro stops from the city centre L1 Arc de Triomf

By car

If you are coming by car, have a look at the map of Barcelona
We advise you to park your car in one of the various car parks of the city, there are very few free car parks and they are out of the city centre. You can get to your apartment barcelona, hotel barcelona or youth hostel barcelona very easely by metro.
